Like many very prolific posters who have an obvious passion for the subject matter, Vox jumped on styleforum and made it his own with interesting commentary and the depiction of his ample, high-end, highly customized wardrobe.

However, after a few years of this, as people's interest in anything ebbs and flows and old guard posters yield to the flotsam and jetsam of newbies, the same questions tend to come up over and over, and the clothing comments in WAYWRN follow a similar tide.

Thus his (quite long-lived, I must say) exuberance for SF finally gave way to endless snark, C-rated one-liners, and the relentless parodying of the Allen Edmonds seconds and other tedious in-jokes. But even this was unsustainable, and so he chose to cease and desist for the moment--with a few small exceptions.

/thread

+1 (as a long time lurker, this nails it).

Perhaps that's what he has decided to do, if so then good for him. He finally got a life!

worse than that, he joined in 2007 but didnt post much at all for a few years

in fact his last 1000 posts were in a span of 1 month; easily posted 40 times per day for a solid year lol

Who's sketchier: the guy who makes 25,000 posts on an internet clothing forum, or the guys who spend over 13 pages analyzing his disappearance?

Excellent point made by Doctor Phil AKA Don Carlos...

We had the grammar police on SF , now we have the thread count unit...

True. My only point was that people (such as a few on this page) who are giving Vox a hard time for his post count need to take a good, self-reflective moment before continuing. Personally, I like Vox. I don't really care how many posts he has accumulated. The same would go for anyone here. We all have subjects about which we're extremely passionate, and, as subjects go, style isn't too destructive or out-there. At least we're not devoting this level of obsession to World of Warcraft or something.

Wait ... wait ... Vox has channeled a message through me:

I Am.

Well, given the message ... I think it's Vox.
