So it seems that many stores are starting to stock these jackets now (Unionamde, Context, Wharf, etc.)

Has anybody picked one up yet?

I ordered the 60/40 Pyutve vest in navy that's on Context. Will report when it gets here.

Our shipment for the store just went out. I'll do a write up on them when they finally get here.

I bought the 60/40 light parka from sierra designs and its way too big for me, def returning. The one i picked up is made in USA. I wish they had a XS because the Japanese size of the S is a M :\. BTW you can use the coupon SD20 for twenty percent off purchases.

Picked up a pyute vest in xs (not from Context but found it on another site yourlume.com that was a bit cheaper). Fit was spot on, and a bit better than the xs parka I had tried on at the Tannery in Boston. Vest fits my needs and looks sharp. Construction leaves a bit to be desired (made in vietnam), with loose threads and misaligned stiching, but don't mind and overall pretty satisfied..

Found mine on yourlume as well. I second all of this. I have a size small. I'm a medium in Gitman Vintage. Probably should have gotten an XS for a more modern fit, but I think I'm happy with the small so far for a more classic jacket.

I'm a little late to this thread so I don't know what UO was asking for the 60/40, but I checked out a couple places that were asking $400 for their mountain parka. From what I've followed on Ebay, vintage ones often go for less than a third of that. $400 seems awfully high for an item like this. Especially since you can frequently find vintage Made in USA models from other manufacturers for under $50 on Ebay that look 90% identical to Sierra Design's 60/40.

The UO ones, not made in the US, were sold for $200 if I remember well. I checked one of the newer made in the US ones, and even though they are nice, they are in no way worth the $400 price tag.
