Conne I weigh the exact same since I started working out and managing my diet but my endurance, strength and physique have all improved dramatically and my chest has gone up a size while my waist has dropped more then a whole size.

Good for you but remember weight loss is not necessarily a great barometer of fitness and health.

That's a good point when people aren't fat but they aren't really lean either. Weight doesn't tell much of the story.

Does anyone have a good "beginner's routine" for lifting? I get kind of intimidated around the weights because I don't feel like I know what to do. A video or step-by-step guide would be helpful.

i ran a 5x5 for 4 months and dropped 5 lbs of fat and put on 12 lbs of muscle 0_0 slowly been destorying that with 2 semesters of terrible eating / terrible sleeping habits

i love sleeping, unfortunately i can never do as much of it as i like. i stick to 3x5 for the time being interspersed with sports
