Crockett & Jones Keswick Green Boots at cost 8.5D

I have a pair of Crockett & Jones "Keswick" Green and suede 8.5D US boots with rubber sole. I got them from a member who works at Barneys, but I got a new pair of boots so I don't need these. They are new with the box and all. I'm not trying to make any money off of this, so my price will be what I paid gone. So, there will be no price drops, I would rather sell them here than return them.

Would get it, but just 2 sized too small for me. Whoever buys it will be very lucky.

Just contacted seller--I wanted to buy them but now he says they are $400! Seems a little odd to increase the price after no one bought them for 6 months.

1. Go to law school, learn that the OP is not an indefinite offer to treat: >$70
2. Disregard 1, hire a lawyer: >$70
3. Pay the man his money, get your shoes: =$70

I happen to be an attorney, albeit one that only represents people in prison who are claiming to be innocent. This has nothing to do with law, but economics. Something is on the market for 6 months, no one bites, usually the price goes down. I'm a new member and didn't see these until I was searching for C&J boots. But oh well, I suppose it's just a pair of shoes.

But I know that there are "rules" I see on styleforum where folks get criticized for the way they list things--not sure why exactly, but I've seen things. I don't think there need to be rules, but this does seem a little strange to me.
