can anyone comment on the ludlow fit? the shoulders, waist, leg, sleeve length? I'm 19, 6 foot, typically slender for my age, and i don't have a broad chest. What i'm worried about is looking like i'm wearing my dad's suit.

I made three orders during their 40% off sale since I didn't have to worry about shipping.

For me...

3 pairs of classic fit pants
2 Watchstraps
Sperry Chukka's

For her...

3 Cardigans
2 Tee shirts
Some awesome pants for $12.

If you buy the right size it shouldn't look to big. I would sale a 38 would probably fit you fine. But if you are still worried about fit, maybe try on a 36S if they even make it.

alright thanks. i'm a 36R, going down to a 34 will be too much for my shoulders so buying short sounds about right. I just hope the trousers have a decent amount of hug throughout my legs or else i'll look squarish

I am close to your age, 6'1" and pretty slender myself. I had never owned a suit before i bought a ludlow. I ended up copping one from one of the major associate sales they offer. I opted for a 36r and I could not have been happier with the fit out of the box. But I decided to take it to a tailor to get the jacket trimmed up and it came out awesome. I don't know if I would pay full price for one but I just could not pass it up.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

I tried on the ludlow 38s and 40s yesterday, love the 40s, I'm 5'9 but have broad shoulders.

The sleeve length comes just above my wrist, one of the sales persons suggested that maybe the 40S sleeve was just a tad short that I should just get the regular and then have the length tailored shorter for the jacket.

What's the rule to follow when buying a suit jacket like the ludlow as far as the sleeve length?

Anyone know if there are any 20% coupons being sent out, or does anyone have any that they are willing to part with? I'm looking to pick up the Barbour Bedale jacket.

yep, there's already too much trouble with him. He can't sell to me till September, and he's already worn the shirt, telling me he might not even sell it. I would've expected him to offer a discount because of all these things, if not just for the fact no one can trust him anymore, but no such thing came up
