While working on Nantucket I noticed almost all the men where wearing at least one item of vineyard vines clothing. Its some of the ugliest stuff ever. Who in there right mind thinks this alright to wear in public?

Vineyard Vines belongs on slovenly frat brahs who're dressing up, and I'm pretty much at my quota for that look already. Also, the collegiate stuff has some pretty idiotic patterns (e.g., Dartmouth and Harvard). But bully for the guys who started it, it looks like they managed to turn unemployment into a pretty sweet business.

Shep and Ian were certainly not bankers, and as far as I know, didn't work on Wall Street. But I get what you're saying, and my post seems pretty acerbic in retrospect. The honest truth is that they make a product, they get people to buy it, and they deserve every penny they have.

I didn't mean unemployment as an insult (I think it's a legitimate choice if you can afford it), but it read that way.
