Last thread here wound up working out, so might as well try it again with something a little more geeky! Selling my TCD649080 Series 2 Dual Tuner unit with LIFETIME and its working spare parts box with an upgraded HDD, also a TCD649080. The main attraction is the box with a Product Lifetime Subscription on it. Only active since 2008 so it's relatively new. It was a bedroom unit, and we don't watch much in the bedroom, so the hard drive has not seen a lot of thrash, never had Suggestions turned on so everything should be pretty low-mileage for its age. Nothing has ever broken or needed any issue with it, case has never been opened, all of that - I've ensured heat has never been an issue for the unit so it should have no issues. I can include the power cable (obviously), phone cable (or you can use a wireless Internet hookup, which I don't have, sorry!) and whatever cable you prefer to connect it. I'll also include a standard peanut remote. Most important here is the LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION - you will NEVER have to pay TiVo a PENNY to keep it running and guide data flowing! Coming with the S2DT unit with lifetime is another S2DT in great shape, that recently came off a 3-year prepaid subscription and now has no subscription. Its HD was upgraded to a 160GB unit - a small upgrade but still an upgrade. I think it records about 130 hours or something like that, though it's been awhile since I looked at the exact date. The box is working fine, but has no sub, so it makes a great spare parts box for the lifetime subscription unit - AND I'll include the original hard drive that was included with this unit in addition to the installed upgrade! This means that you will be able to keep the Tivo with LIFETIME running for FREE a VERY long time! Photos below are of both boxes - they're pretty much identical except one has an upgraded hard drive but no sub, and the other is untouched but has a lifetime subscription. As far as pricing on this - I'd be looking for something in the neighborhood of 299>250>$225 with FREE shipping, professionally packed and delivered. Remember, that's for TWO units - one lifetimed and one backup, as well as cords, remote, and another spare HDD. I'm taking a bath on the free shipping, especially, but this is a serious sale and I'm looking for serious purchasers.
