FS: New John Lobb 'Tiverton' 9E (8000 last)

Thread Starter
For Sale: New from the Lobb factory store: 'Tiverton' in 9E (UK). Black calf. On the 8000 last. Ships in a plain non-JL box. JL shoe bags and the JL care card are included. Shoe trees are not included. SOLD Thanks. Please PM with any questions. -JD * Edit: to answer FStyles: Yes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe everything from the factory store is a slight second. However, these don't have any stamps or markings to indicate this. I've been over them a number of times and aside from the non-stamped sole, can't find any issues. Happy to take extra pictures to confirm. *Edit II: Still can't find any stamp. I added pictures below to show the footbed. The only marks are shown in the pictures, which say "Tiverton 9E8000" and "15253". Thanks guys.

By from the factory store do you mean seconds? Don't see the JL stamp on the sole. Nice shoes regardless but am curious

damn, would be long gone in 8.5E :/

Are they marked with an "R" or "S"? If "S" they were are simply on sale. "R" would be a factory reject and have some sort of issue but of all the Lobb's marked "R" that I have seen, the issue is almost insignificant.

agreed on insignificance. regardless of subs or not, These are nice and the price is right. I just wanted to know whether or not its true that if the "JL" logo on the waist of the sole is not there signifies that thy're seconds. I see ascot shoes sell rejects for $900 usd so this is def a deal.

The stamp, if it exists, would typically be next to the Tiverton script on the inner side. Since this is clear, I guess it means it's neither a sale item or a reject. IME perfect pairs purchased on sale at a JL factory sale would have the S and perfect pairs purchased at a retailer, like neiman marcus, will have no stamp whatsoever regardless of whether they were on sale or not. The rejects are stamped R.
