Agree about Conners. Started out so promising and just kind of "devolved" laugh.gif
REALLY entertaining. Would advise all to go see it. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
So, any word on who Conners was talking to in the cell during the bonus scene?

I was trying to figure out in the theatre who else they could introduce. 1) Green Goblin 2) Doc Oc 3)Sandman, Venom, Hobgoblin New) Lizard. Dude was obviously too small for Kingpin (who's also more of a Daredevil villain, no?) And beyond that I'm trying to think of real "standout" villains in the Spidey-universe. It's admittedly been a few years. You have Carnage, but no way to do that without a whole rehash of the symbiote storyline. Mysterio, Mephisto, Chameleon, Jackal/Kaine...

Could it be Morbius?

All the references to Oscorp, and Norman's life threatening condition makes some version of the Goblin a seeming shoe-in for me. Could've been Norman, right? That sinister voice and all.

I think the director kind of coyly confirmed that it was not Norman, but that's what I thought too. His entrance/exit was almost mystical, so I honestly have no idea who it could be. I thought it was a weird hallucination or something, but that would be kind of pointless I guess. It was a strange scene.

That would be boring if they chose the goblin. I want to see a new villain that we've never seen in spiderman yet.

My guess:

Harry and the Hobgoblin.

But...

What would Harry have to do with Peter's parents disappearance? He'd be too young. I could see Norman involved, but still not sure.

The more I think about it, either Morbius or Jackal could be involved - both were scientists where things went wrong (already established w/ Lizard here) - could have been working with Richard Parker on that whole equation thing before his disappearance. Jackal got his powers by doing that DNA-splice thing similar to Connors in this one as well as Morbius working w/ vampire bats.

What about Kraven the Hunter for the next film.

They roll Harry into a slightly older, college age guy who's been forced to take over Norman's company and find a cure for him. In his efforts to find one he doses himself up with the Goblin formula and becomes the Hobgoblin.

Also, Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
The guy looked short, bald, and old to me. Could have been a setup for the Vulture.

Not even going to spoiler it since this scene was on the TV spots.

WHAAAAAAAAAAA?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Would LOVE a decent XMen reboot, as long as they keep Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (casting he and Patrick Stewart were the only things right with those three movies).

This sounds dangerously close to something I'd say. Quick, someone warn RFX!

Wait, you're pro-Jackman as Wolverine? No "Wolverine is supposed to be 5'2" and stocky" instead of the 6'2" well-postured, ripped Jackman they hired?

Listen, I would have much rather had someone better, but sometimes you just have to take the baby out with the bathwater.

The Vulture and Kraven the Hunter now that would be good.
