I never saw it, but did it feature Stargirl? She was always one of my favorite in the JSA.

Yeah it's one of the terrible costumes in the show. They should have made Fate helmet more metal like Bronze instead of that plastic looking thing.

I wish they would have showed Black Manta and Capt. Cold more, Grundy was way too skinny though.

I'm ok with Grundy. He changes looks all the time and it is written into his character that he is "reborn" in new form when he dies.

Still too small for my liking. I mean that was the extent of his part int he show, they couldn't make him more intimidating?
I'd understand if they actually had an episode that used him a lot and he had to walk around and stuff but he was just sitting there for a few seconds and that is all you see of him.

I think the problem is most of the male actors are already cast with men who are fairly built. It's hard to find a body-builder who would look huge next to them.

CGI? Again, he is just sitting there in a dark room.

And not true at all about finding a body builder. There should be plenty of body builder twice the size of the guys in the show.

Yeah, there are plenty of body builders, powerlifters, wrastlers that would make most "buff" actors look like twigs.

Seriously, have you seen the likes of Rob Terry, Mason Ryan, Batista or Scott Steiner?
This guy Rob Terry is a legitimate 6'5" guy. Plus most actors are actually pretty damn short. Tom Cruise is like what, 5'6" or 5'8"? Robert Downey is probably around that height too.

I didn't see the episode, so year if he just sat there then I guess they could have used a roided meathead from the local gym and been done with it.

It also depends on if they want a more "realistic" approach or not. If they do, then I don't think a real human could ever achieve the look from the comics for these types of characters. An example of this would be Bane in the new Batman movie. No computer trickery and while his character design is shaping up nicely he doesn't have the same look as the drawn version in comics.
