The Amazing Spider-Man (07/03/2012) - Page 24

Spiderman has always been my favorite, and I see this as the ideal movie for spidey fanboys such as myself. Don´t get me wrong, I liked the previous movies Toby, but garfield just seems right for the part. Kinda tall, lean/slender figure, and the right attitude to mock and fight villains.

No way, Toby was the epitome of "nerdy kid turned superhero". Nobody would look at him and go "he's too cool to be a nerd", whereas I get the sense this guy went to every high school party. The attitude may be different, I don't know much about either, but on pure looks and body it's no contest.

I expunge all memories of that movie from my mind. I don't want to see a faux hipster douche teen prancing around on screen, thanks. :|

Nerd wise, yes, toby nailed it, but superhero wise (even though he got pretty jacked) garfield just looks much more like the spidey I see in the comics. Still, he also makes a decent nerd for what I´ve seen so far. Only thing he´s got going against him is that no nerd would ever have such an awesome hair  lol8[1].gif

You were able to whipe that from your memory?! I only saw that movie once, when it came out in theaters and to this day those scenes have haunted my memory!

Say what you will about Spider-Man 3 but that Sandman/Venom VS. Spider-Man/New Goblin scene was dope.

The Spider-Man Viral Brings You a Video Message From Oscorp Industries

The viral campaign for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man has been playing out all day long in cities across the nation and has now just revealed a brand new video that features Rhys Ifans' Dr. Curt Connors inviting ARG players to take place in an Oscorp Industries science program that focuses on reptile genetics. The company, it seems, is looking for interns and the application process appears set to begin on Monday, May 14th. Check out the video in the player below!

As we mentioned earlier this week, the Twitter account @scaleseeker coordinated a nationwide effort to track sightings of the film's villain, The Lizard. Throughout today, coordinates were revealed that led players to locations in Los Angeles, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Austin, Tampa, Minneaplis and New Orleans where packages were discovered containing Connor's shredded labcoat, an Oscorp ID badge and scientific samples of reptilian skin. By unscrambling the letters listed on each sample, the words "animal dynamics lab" lead players to the new site. Where the campaign will lead now is anybody's guess, but check back for updates as they become available..

From the time they brought in that ridiculous Doctor Octopus in the second movie that franchise became a joke. Thank god for this reboot.

Emma Stone over Kirsten Dunst any day!

I love these Viral Campaigns! It was the only thing I liked about the recent Transformer movies!
