Anyone know who makes or where I can find some lace up dress boots? I would prefer if they were mid-calf as opposed to ankle or chukkas.

I recently purchased these Aldo wingtips.

I am looking for basically the exact same shoe but it doesn't have to be a wingtip.

The Aldo's are made of all rubber, and were 80 dollars so I feel like I should be able to find something better. I am a little stumped as to where to look or what manufacturers to look for and would greatly appreciate some help pointing me in the right direction.

I would like the boot to be fairly all purpose in the sense that I could wear it to the office and then out if need be. I don't know if such a boot exists.

Also could you wear a boot to a wedding?

Thanks for your help.

Alden, Alfred Sargent or Trickers. It'd be fine for a wedding, but not the best.

Thanks for the help. I actually am going to return those Aldo shoes, and am trying to find something to replace them.

How would one go about figuring out what shoe size to get? My understanding is that shoes typically don't fit the same, and can change by style. Would going to a shoe store and getting fit be enough or should I actually try on a similar style shoe to be certain?
