Bespoke hand-made heather gray skinny suit 34S 30x30

This is a custom-made heather gray wool skinny suit, made for me in September 2010 by Adrian Park, owner and head tailor of De Louice (http://www.louicechicago.com/index.php), a custom design and tailor shop; the suit was made by hand here in Chicago. When designing the suit, I had very specific requirements for its construction, which I’ll list here (and should be evident in the photos): * Three-season wool * Shorter jacket length * Two button front enclosure * High arm holes/slim sleeve lengths * Body-hugging silhouette * Narrow shoulders * No back vents * Very slim lapels (less than 1”) * No pleats * Mid-rise As you can see in the photos and my specifications, both the jacket and pants are very slim-fitting (though quite comfortable), with many of the trademark design features of Hedi Slimane-era Dior Homme. Be sure to check the measurements below; I am 5’10” and a shade below 140 pounds. (Given the jacket length, the suit would also work for men shorter than me.) Jacket * Armpit-to-armpit: 17 inches * Shoulders: 15.7 inches * Length (top-of-collar to hem): 26 inches * Sleeve length: 23.5 inches Pants * Waist: 30 inches * Pant length (hem to top-of-the-waist): 41 inches * Inseam: 30 inches The suit is basically new, worn a half-dozen times (less now as I work from home more often, hence why I’m selling); the price is 25% less than the nearly $600 I paid for the suit. Shipped in a keepsake garment bag. Price: $450, shipped. Email me if you need more photos or info.

Are you in Chicago? I was thinking about going to this guy but maybe not so much anymore. I might be willing to give you $100 for the suit, but I dont know. The ventless is definitely not for everyone.

This is probably the biggest dick-move I've seen in a long time.

Nice work. The short jacket would be a bit tough for me as I am 6'1", but I love the fit of the pants and the overall sillhouette. How did the lack of vents work out for you?

I'm partial to a vent-less jacket myself; I'd be curious to hear why it is "not for everyone," though I tend to think having two back vents--as if the suit was a flap--is ridiculous.

Seconded. Wow.

Such a unique style that you pulled off so well. Fits you great. You should think of keeping it (if money is not an issue). Would be a great suit for non-work events, too.

Do you think it would fit?

I'm 5'6 and 135 and I think it'd be too small for me haha. GLWS.

If you're 5'6", I suspect that jacket would be of regular length for you; you'd have to have the pants brought in some, but your weight may be right for the suit. 5'9" and 160, however, will be tough...

15.7 shoulder would be impossible for me to fit lol.
