I apologize, apparently the Blue LED version is in high demand and commands higher prices than the more common Red LED version. That out of the way, these are good detectors and I have one. We used it on a month-long 9000mi. Tour of America trip, and it performed flawlessly giving us plenty of time in advance to slow down.
