Come to think about it, since this is a reboot they may have changed where this GL gets his powers. I would be surprised if they made him part of the Corps, but you never know.

Juggling Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman would be a massive undertaking in itself considering how iconic they are. I think they would have to relegate Aquaman/Flash/Green Lantern to Hawkeye/Black Widow status to make the film work. So that means, instead of a lengthy **** orgy scene, it'd be a quick throwaway line about stopping by a truck-stop bathroom.

Wonder Woman Film Gets Writer

With all the excitement yesterday of the potential for a Black Panther movie (which we're hearing is false) and a writer being hired for Justice League, it seems another announcement got lost in all of the squealing and shouting.

Not only did Variety report yesterday about Will Beall being brought on to write the Justice League film, they also mentioned that Green Lantern scribe Michael Goldenberg has been brought on for Wonder Woman.

No word on release dates or casting yet, but stay tuned here as we will bring you any and all updates we have.

Mark Millar says new ‘Justice League’ movie is “dark and mature”

Late on Tuesday night news broke that Warner Bros. was getting serious about a Justice League movie, having hired Will Beall to write the script. Now comic book writer Mark Millar has a few details to add about the direction of the movie.

A pal of mine is good friends with the new Justice League screenwriter and said his take on the team is incredible. Very real-world and not at all what you might expect. WB has a chequered history with their superhero characters. They’re great with their boy wizards, but less consistent with their DC stable. But my chum said that this could be a thing of beauty and has been in the works for a little while now, not just an avengers knock-off. Best of luck to them. The tidbits I heard sound quite dark and mature, which isn’t what I expected. But word on Gangster Squad is great too so I feel this is in really good hands.

Fans of the universe that Christopher Nolan created will be happy to hear this news, though how “real-world” can you get with heroes like Superman and The Flash? It’ll be interesting to see how this all pans out. Stay tuned to Batman-News.com, we’ll be following all the latest news and rumors about the upcoming Justice League movie.

I don't want a "real world" JLA film.

EDIT: By this I mean that "dark and realistic" works well for a Batman film. It won't work well for a JLA film. You can't shoehorn Superman, Wonder Woman and GL into that type of vision. It just doesn't work for the team.

EDIT 2: Also when did "realistic" get so confused with "dark"? You can have either without having to do the other.

More Bane and Cat Woman info. Not really a spoiler as it's part of the press that's been released but I will spoiler tag it.

BANE - Little is known about Bane. He was born in prison and trained in the darkest forms of deception by the League of Shadows, but rumor has it he was cast out due to his extreme behavior. Bane is a ferocious hand-to-hand fighter who is willing to do anything in order to take down his opponents. Bane is in peak physical shape, but he must wear a breathing apparatus that feeds him with pain relieving gas due to an old injury. He’s never been photographed without his mask and only a handful of people have seen his face. While his true motives remain a mystery, he appears to be building an army of followers in the dark tunnels underneath Gotham in order to create his own League of Shadows.

SELINA KYLE - is a world-class cat burglar and mistress of disguise. She’s cunning and devious, but has a deep sense of honor. As Catwoman, she targets Gotham’s wealthiest. Her weapons usually include infrared goggles, bladed high-heel boots, and a belt filled with lock picks.

So now we are seeing the Bane tie-in with the Al Ghul's and League of Shadows.
