I don't think people are giving Bane the proper respect he deserves.

People hear "Bane" and think back to the Batman and Robin movie; a mindless, juiced up thug.

Bane will be an amazing villain, he has a mind rivaling Batman's, and unlike most of the bad guys, he's 100 percent sane.....which makes him even more dangerous.

I am a novice batman fan. I haven't read all the comics and am not well versed in all the minutiae, but I have a general knowledge of the character and the universe, and I feel like the Dark Knight is leaps and bounds ahead of any of the other film adaptations. Are you some die hard batman super fan? Can you articulate where you are coming from in your opinion of ledgers performance and the overall movie?

Wow at this thread. I think it'd be funny to go back and read what people thought The Dark Knight was going to be like when they announced Heath Ledger as The Joker, I'm still surprised people are doubting Christopher Nolan at this point

I'm more interested in how this movie will compare with the first two.
