Batman: Dark Knight Rises (movie thread) - Page 28

Speaking of the city, why is Wayne tower which is not destroyed in BB not shown in TDK and instead the corp headquarters of Wayne Enterprises is replaced by some massive Trump-like black tower?

I'm curious how far they will take the venom concept with Bane. If they really do want to keep it grounded to earth, it may not do much more then give him faster reflexes and an adrenaline boost.

Yah I don't think he'll be busting through walls like the Kool-Aid man but I can see it giving him boost ins strength and stamina. I can imagine Bats in the brink of beating him but he gets a boost of Venom and it'll turn the tides or even out the match once again.

i'm guessing he'll be generally stronger and trained in more disciplines than batman and in the end bruce has to outsmart him

just that clip of bane walking toward a retreating batman is amazing, were used to criminals fleeing and running from him(bar the joker) but this guy(bane) is pursuing him to smash his skull in and seems capable of doing it with his bare hands, makes batman seem very normal or human if you will than the usual invincible aura he has as he usually dispatches with the villains with little effort.....looks to be a great story

I think they've been cagey about it. They've said that Harvey Dent is dead, but I don't think that means Two Face is, necessarily.

No I'm pretty sure Harvey Dent and Two Face are dead. It would make one to many plots to introduce Two Face in the third movie, plus Aaron Eckhart was purposely left behind from third film because he was dead.

You're probably right. Would be cool for two face to come back though.

Yah, I believe Dent is dead too, there isn't an open interpretation on that part of TDK. If he is alive, it makes the TDK ending pointless.

Agreed on this.

It's kind of sad to think they had planned for the Joker to have a sizable role in this film.

I'm wondering if there might be next to Bane and Catwoman a third "cameo-villain", such as Victor Zsasz in BB?

Looking closely at the teaser pic, you can see two like glowing eyes left of Bane.

Maybe Deadshot? That would make perfect sense if Batman is to be hunted down.

They are probably fighting in a prison (would explain the "guard" and the chanting). And the third villain is always Scarecrow. This is Nolan.

I hope it's Baby Doll.

I was guessing the sewer. Looking closely at the gif, you can see the water reflection in the back and Bats is soaking wet. If true, the it's obvious that the 3rd villain is Killer Croc!

Killer Croc and Bane have a history too (from Knightfall)
