Imagine The Fire is my favorite song from it. He just released a track called Aurora dedicated to the victims of the shooting, he mixes some of the music from TDKR into it (I believe Bane's theme).

when talia pushed the detonator, was she at a safe distance from the blast radius? or is she a suicide bomber?

For some reason, the green Ford Taurus that Rachel drove in Batman Begins always bothered me. I don't know why someone close with the Wayne family would be driving an old, beat-up, early 1990s car like that. And I don't know why they would still be driving it seven years later when Bruce returns. Whatever.

Hopefully this isn't a spoiler, but...

In TDKR, when Batman first escapes the police on the bike, there is a green Ford Taurus on the trailer.

she was bruce's childhood friend, that doesn't mean his family gave her family money.

Rachel Dawes was a daughter to one of the Wayne Manor house keepers. I dont think that is ever explicitly said in the movie but it is mentioned by Chris Nolan in the book with all the photos and art.

Cool. I didn't know that.

Want to know how TDKR crew made the Bat sound effects?

I never implied that the Waynes gave Rachel's family money. I meant that old-money billionaires typically don't hang out with the Ford Taurus driving folks.

But Rachel being the daughter of a housekeeper makes sense.

watched. was awesome. enjoyed it thoroughly. i thought the casing was excellent. especially mayor carcetti and bunny from the wire, and the dude from dexter. i thought the roles were chosen very well.

tom hardy was fantastic as bane, probably my favorite character. AH was great, haters gone hate. levitt was a solid choice, and of course cane was impeachable as always.

also, did not feel long to me at all. very well paced for me.

i very much enjoyed the ending as well. im a corn ball, sue me.

the whole Al'Ghul/bane/talia tie together was great imo. the only thing i really didnt like was banes end. you barely see him die. total cop out. was hoping for mask removal and horrific pain and screaming, maybe even a head explosion. talia as well. they deserved better ends. more gore and pain were needed.

yea i didn't like that both bane and talia died before knowing their plan failed.

you know what part is dope? when all those cops surround batman, and he just stands there all calm and looks around like "i ain't even trippin", then slowly gets on his bike, shoots open that ramp and flies over it. that part is dope.
