The fighting style Batman uses in both fights are completely different. In the first encounter Batman treats Bane like an ordinary thug and thinks that his tricks and hiding-in-the-shadows ploy is more than enough to work. A great example of this is when Bane turns around and grabs Batman out of the darkness before us, the audience, even realizes that Batman is hiding there.
The second time around there's no fancy movements, it's just a straight up brawl in broad daylight where Batman focuses more on Bane's "weakness" (his mask) rather than wasting time trying to throw smoke grenades and whatnot. I don't see how people can whine about the fight being overly simplistic when the first fight
clearly demonstrates how fancy tactics and tricks don't work on Bane.
