Further proof that Schneider doesn't work for everyone. This guy should not be modeling his clothes.

The the models look far too slim, prissy, and neat to be IT or computer nerds. They remind me more of the most uncool foreign transfer student from back when I was in high school. A fair number of the foreign transfer students would often look slim, preppy, and neat relative to the fat and sloppy US kids. Their neatly parted hair, dress trousers, and an overall kind of neutered look would cause them to look very weak and nerdy compared to the slovenly and rugged jeans & t-**** look of most other kids.

So nerdy high schoolers playing dress-up is mostly what I see here. Many of the pictures even look like the photos done for a high school yearbook, complete with marbleized back drop. So I guess this vibe is very intentional.

I think BB1 summed it up well. My impression was a high school yearbook/photo session too.

Keep in mind the pics I posted are from Japan shops and the model appears to be a swole short dude, so not the ideal body type for SS in my opinion.

For all those all up on the poses and styling critique tip, how about I post my paypal, you donate funds so I can accrue the collection and then I'll post fits all season??

SS cardigans/knits are my dream. I'd purchase each one if I had the bank for it.

must look better on the right model no?

I should be copping one SS scarf each season at full price before they evaporate.

I was surprised to see a few places still had that alpaca scarf from this season in stock come sale time. So glad I picked it up.

thanks for posting the pictures.

is it schneider's intention for the shoulder seams to be so far below the actual shoulders with his cardigans (more pronounced in the middle picture, but seemingly noticeable in the last one)? it seemed the same way with f/w '10 stuff - maybe i just haven't been paying enough attention.
