Do you have to provide some sort of documentation before taking the birthright trip?

It's the length my friend. Sort of like skirts, it needs to be below the knees to enter.

no cause there is actually no way to prove youre jewish. they just ask you questions about why you want to go etc. though ive seen them let people go on whos grandmother or something was jewish.

The orthodoxy goes through some lengths to background check those who claim to be Jewish, but neither birthright nor the state are as diligent.

Could I just flash them my hoodless warrior and get in? Would rather do fun birthright trip with banging Jewesses than an Orthodox one.

they've cracked down a lot on who gets to go since they last a lot of their funding in the recession. also there's age limits

I went back in 05' and all you needed is some basic info and a heart wrenching essay on how you want to discover you Jewish roots and want to understand why your great- grandmother hid in makeshift synagogues and why your grandmother and mother shriek in horror at the thought of you being with a shiksa. Now I hear it got much more strict and frugal; a friend of mine worked for a bit for one of the companies that organize the trips, and she told me that they even spy on you on Facebook and check who your friends are and what you do. God forbid you’d be caught in a picture wearing a cross or munching on some crispy bacon. I grew up in Israel and technically was not allowed to go, but like I said back then it was a free for all. My passport was loaded with visit stamps from Israel and I speak better Hebrew then most of the tour guides; I just used Birthright for a free trip to see my friends and family.
