I was wondering what everyone prefered. Ripped or not Ripped jeans. I personally shy towards the ripped side, I like the rustuc look. What about others?

You're likely not going to find a lot of ppl on this forum who like ripped jeans just so you know.

preripped jeans = A&F fratboy look.

I have only one pair of ripped jeans, a pair of distressed Diesels. The only reasons I got them were that they were dirt cheap on eBay and are a cotton/linen blend which works REALLY well in the summer for, say, going to the beach (a lot more bearable when there is high humidity). But in general I would never buy ripped jeans. Avoid!

ripped is only good if you ripped them in the process of wearing... then you should repair them.

Many on this forum want you to distress your own denim authentically.

So all you have to do is jump from a few moving cars, a few slips with a chainsaw here or there, another couple scolds of hot coffee and you should be right on fashion wise

Unripped. They don't let you into the casino here if you have ripped jeans.

I thing agree with the comments that rips are best when they happen on their own. More of a story behind it.

All the opinions are interesting, but it does seem majority unripped.

pre-ripped jeans disgust me. the only rips, tears, and so on should come from actual wear. buying it that way is stupid. and, imho, it always looks fake anyway.

natural rips are way better but clean denim is my choice

Natural rips and tears can look pretty cool, in my opinion, but buying pre-ripped jeans is pretty ridiculous.
