Can you compare the fit to either the urban slim fit or classic fit J Crew chinos?

Slimmer than the urban slims, but not as slim as the 484's.

Thanks. Glad I didn't order them then. The urban slims are as slim as I can go.

Eh, it's not that bad considering you could just get it taken in when you have to hem it anyways

just bought the vest, am psyched to get it.

was thinking that everything that i own from outlier i like. i have a pair of pants and two pairs of shorts. The shorts I wear all the time in the summer, and the pants are awesome, as comfortable as wearing sweatpants, look great, and the nanosphere treatment stuff helps them shed water/stains.

the nyco pants aren't really tempting, because what i love about outlier are the tech fabrics, not so much the cut (which is okay/standard).

Got my Nycos. Waist was TTS, legs are slim, but not overly tight. I have muscular legs from biking, so unless you have big freaking legs, I think most guys will be ok in the leg/thigh area.
Material is stiff, but pretty soft. Definetly digging these pantalones.

Waist definitely measures bigger than tagged, fits weird imo. Legs / thighs are slim, but not too slim, upper block seems tight, but waist is big. As a result, pants fit well in legs / thighs, but tight in butt area, then a little room in waist. Feel like pants should either be a bit bigger in top block our a bit slimmer in thighs. Feels like an awkward mix right now

Fabric is nice, will probably keep it as I'm a bit fat right now anyways

Also, whoever packs their pants needs to lay off the lotion, had a few globs on the back of my pair. Wiped off easily and didn't stain (I think) but kinda weird to see that...

got my vest, don't love it, it's going back.

it's really long, which makes sense for being in the bike, but make it feel a bit awkward, and the outer wool is not as thick (or tightly woven) as I was expecting. first outlier thing i have that i don't LOVE, figure it's not worth keeping if i don't really like it right off the bat.

gak, despite being on the mailing list, don't know how i missed the Nyco slims update and now sorry to have slept on that one. OTOH, it sounds like they're not as slim as I first thought based on the website pix. if anyone is looking to get rid of a 28 in navy/indigo, let me know.

Anyone have the Three Way Shorts? Was hoping to pick up the longs but theyre still out of stock - they have a pair of the regular Three Ways in my size. Just wondering if they're really short?

^they aren't really short i don't think.

the inseam length is my favorite part of them. I don't feel like i am wearing Magnum PI shorts, they are great. I have worn my pair pretty much all summer twice now.

Love me some Outlier, but I have found that the Lulu Lemon Kahuna shorts are VERY similar as the 3 way shorts. Half the price.

I'd say pretty close to the classic fit J crew chinos I have, but those are a couple years old. Not as slim as the 484 cords I have from J Crew. Fit in waist/thighs better for me than J crew, altho I agreewith Teger I wish they were a little slimmer overall.

Bad fit pic, post hem, cuffed once (not a tailored cuff).
