'cause it feels nice, and while it's nice having a shirt that I can bring backpacking and not have to worry about washing, I work in an office too.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the white Air Forged Oxfords attract dirt particles like crazy?

I've had merino underwear and (Outlier) tshirts washed weekly for years and they hold up fine.

However deadsunrise says the Merino/co shrink a bit after repeated washings so that's something to think about

Half size is pretty substantial, eesh. Guess I'll keep them way away from the machine. I like the way they fit out of the box, though - most of the other Outlier shirts in the same size I buy have to be taken in about 0.5-1 inch in the sides so they tuck nicely.

I'm still a bit split on nylon/cotton shirting vs. pure cotton or merino blend. Ny/co seems like the perfect pant material, but in shirts (and especially light colors or stuff) it can get crinkly or attract dirt. Does anyone have experience with the Proof NY Iron Oxes? And are there any other brands I should be looking into when it comes to technical-ish shirts?

Be careful because they shrunk a LOT in a cold delicate cicle. The S used to fit great and it was my favorite shirt ever but I couldn't wear it after washing once, short sleeves, couldn't button the neck... just tight everywhere.

I had a gray one that I washed first, then received one in blue and I wore it maybe 15 times before washing it cause I was scared that it would shrink too, it didn't smell bad or anything.  They still didn't have the notice on the sizing page so I just washed it cold, it shrunk.

They exchanged both shirts well after the 45-day period was over (ordered in sep-oct, the shirts are on the way to NY right now). They told me that the new batch around march will fix the problem. If anyone has a shrunken M that wants to sell.. I'm interested.  I have to go to a wedding and was planning to wear a merino/co.

New batch eh? Guess I'll have to budget for that.

I have a couple Ls that haven't been washed that you can shrink to your heart's content if you're interested. :P

New release today. OG free shell for $365. Packs into itself. My two criticisms: Even when packed, it is rather big (think messenger bag) and they used OG fabric. Not water resistant in anything other than a mist and prone to snags.

Thanks, but no thanks. It's good for no one other than an urbanite who lives in a dry area. Pretty big miss by them (and I usually love their outerwear)

Price was quite surprising thought it would be $500+

I think I remember somebody looking for navy 60/30's in 30; Chari and Co. has a pair for sale:

On another note: did Outlier remove a bunch of items from the shop? There are a bunch of things missing that were there a couple of days ago..

they'll remove them to 'clean-up' the site but if they aren't completely sold out, you can still search and find them. e.g: 3-ways are still plenty stocked but they aren't listed

I ask because they removed a number of items that still have plenty of stock.

anyone know what color these dungarees are? can't tell if it's black, indigo, or blue tint grey which just looks like the indigo to me.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a pant from outlier (or a similar company) with roomier cut thighs? Looking at their measurements and their models, look like most everything is catered to slimmer folks. I have a bulky bottom block with sizeable thighs and glutes (but relatively small waist), so pants are often a pain for me to fit unless I get them MTM.

Are the Outlier socks reasonably thick?
