On the topic of Water Buffalo, anyone know how to take care of this leather? Also what products to use?

Many thanks, my best to date. Yes the black cherry is in the tope cap, and upper part. It`s very hard to tell differently from the dark brown, and was expecting some burgundy tones, but its a shade of red brown...

Comparison of heel rake and position between Traveller block heel and tapered cuban heel...quite a difference!

^^ Those are great looking boots, but I can't figure out why anyone would get a block heel on a pair of White's. My opinion still hasn't changed in the few years the option has become available. I have walked around in a lightly broken in pair with the block heel, and absolutely could tell the difference between them and my other White's with standard heels. It was not a good difference. I wonder if the folks at White's just shake their heads when an order for a boot with block heels comes through. It just seems to defeat the purpose of the last. Obviously, to each his own. You sir are the perfect person to give us a true, lived comparison.

discussion?

Sad story with my whites:

I got a pair of brown semi dress from the spokane factory store earlier this year. After wearing them for a while, I've noticed that the high arch causes a lot of pain on the top instep of my foot. I had hoped it would go away after the break-in, but it has not. They are up in B&S, which sucks, as these things are seriously bad ass.

What I have been told countless times is if they dont fit perfectly they will cause arch pain...do yours fit well, or are they big/small/tight/loose?

It`s summer here, and I`m waiting for a few more months. Two are new bought this year. The bounty hunters are well used, but kept in good condition...

Cuban heels are as steezy as they are functional, too.

Just ask yourself; What would Tom Waits do?

Get drunk and lose his shoes somewhere, then get up in the morning and write a sad song about it?

Where were those navy bounty hunters from?
I can't say I've had good luck with blue shoes, they rarely fit into my fits, but I am curious.
