I just got in my first pair of White's in. I bought them off of ysb, and they're the right size--seemingly the correct width and length. However, I've had a lot of pain along the outside of my arch and the top of my right foot from (what I assume is) break-in. Is this something I should expect to go away over time, or should I cut my losses and sell?
Regarding the top of your right foot, is it over top of the arch area and heading up towards your ankle? I know on mine when I first got them until the tongue was broken in and I tried slightly different methods of folding the tongue, I would get a pressure point like you may be having.
When you say outside of your arch, do you mean for example the right side of your right boot? If it is concentrated around the arch of your foot, it has been my experience that is generally the tightest part of White's boots. Did you try feeling inside the boot for any high spots or anything that feels odd in the area?
I'm wearing my SmokeJumpers right now, and I never really had a chance to break them in when I got them in the spring. They are tight and slightly uncomfortable starting behind the balls of my feet and heading back under the arch. On my previous two pairs of White's that eventually went away.
