The Farmer-Rancher is literally the Semi Dress last on the Smoke Jumper styling. I have them in stock and there is barely any difference between the SD and FR last.

Alright, I'm going to post the short version again.

Smoke Jumper: Standard last, lug sole
Farmer-Rancher: Standard last, composition or mini lug sole
Bounty Hunter: Either of the above on the semi-dress last

There are other last choices (38, swing) for Smoke Jumpers, Farmer-Ranchers, and even the Semi-Dress, but take the above as the basic guide to terminology if another last is not specifically mentioned.

What do you think of the improvement with the natural leather laces to match the sole?

I gave in again. Semi-dress in horween natural chromexcel, block heel, brass eyelets and vibram sole. Was on the fence vs. the oak street trench boots, but opted for these because the sole is so much more substantial on the white's.

Wow, those look great. I might have to get some of those. I really am interested in horsehide, but the natty cxl keeps looking better and better. I have natty oak street book makers trail oxfords, but I want a boot in natural.

How do you specify that you want the rubber outersole to continue at the arch from the front to the back like it shows here. I thought it was called the Half Slip, but apparently not? A lot of White's boots I see rubber on just the heel and the front, but not always the arch.

Also, has there been a post of the Bounty Hunter with a medallion captoe on an SD last? Couldn't find a pic searching through the thread.
