Listed one pair so far:

So whites runs half a size smaller?

They run somewhere in between TTS and .5 size large. I think they run closer to .5 size large, others disagree. YMMV

I haven't owned a pair of SDs (yet!), but i find my smokejumpers to fit very TTS. mind you i wear em with boot (and ocassionally athletic) socks

Sure wish I were an 11D! I'd have to chop off the ends of my toes. Some folks are going to get great boots.

White's, like most work boots, run rather wide in the toe. So if you size mostly by width rather than length you can probably size down a half. I wear a 10 in Alden Barrie last and a 10 in White's semi-dress boots is still quite roomy.

Those buggers are outstanding!

That build tempts me to build some SD's of my own.

I'm typically a heavier utility style boot buyer, but...

Still wondering what size should i get for a sj in the near future, I measure 7D on a brannock device.

I'd guess 6.5D - why not send your foot tracings in?

This could be an isolated incident, but my dad wears 11D in most shoes, yet he wears 10.5D SJs and they are a bit roomy on him. SJs seem to be cut pretty big. his 11 packers fit smaller than is 10.5 SJs.

I wear 13 in most shoes, but I wear 12.5 in my SDs. I tried on some SJs in 12.5 that were too wide, but the length was right. If I go with the pointed toe Packers, I'm not sure what size I'll need, but I'm confident the folks at White's and Baker's can figure it out. I just love the Bison leather in your SDs, Bl@ster. Your boots really turned my head and got me thinking about a pair of Bison boots for myself. Your disease seems to be contagious!

Good choice, Bro. The Bison leather is amazingly soft yet sturdy. And the texture is very beautiful... I didn't know what to expect going it, but now I'm a bison believer.

Those look fantastic. Are they much lighter with the crepe sole? What laces are you running in those; they look great with the black rough out.

The crepe sole is a lot lighter than other options for sure. I got the laces from Timberland a few years ago but never used them, they were for one of the early Timberland Boot Co boots(used to be pretty nice boot line).

I wish White's sold black leather laces. Anyone know where to get some that are of equivalent quality to Whites/Viberg laces?

I got these for my SDs and really like them. http://www.shoelacesexpress.com/leatherround.asp
