chromexcel is pretty oily, so a good brushing is generally sufficient. The color is irrelevant.
I bought a pair of 13" a few years ago. They are wonderful - once you get them on. If you need them for all day work this is not a problem - but if you are looking for a snow boot to slip in and out of frequently (or quickly) then go with the 8" lower profile. All in all a really good and attractive winter boot.
I know that I'd want that information if I was looking to buy, and so I felt obligated to share it. He can still sell them at that price to an informed buyer.

The black pebble voyager is: thinner than a lot of the other leathers like dress, CXL etc so you are likely to need a liner. Pebbled but gently, not extremely bumpy, small grain/ pebbles not like bison, think it will age very nicely and........ Anything else?
