Any recommendations on who gives a really good haircut in the Baltimore area? Price is not a concern.

Not sure what you mean by "really good haircut," but a new shop opened up on Charles and Madison (across the street from The Helmand) owned and run by one guy, $15. Cash only fyi. I think he does a good job.

I go to Quintessential Gentlemen at the corner of Calvert and Lombard.

Worth a look: baltimorebarbershop.com

I go to Bill the Barber, he used to be running out of the top floor of the Chop Shop on Harford rd., but now I think he's moved into the store below it. He's a good barber, gives a good haircut and shoots the shit effortlessly, plus free coffee and beer. There's usually a wait unless you go in the middle of the day, but he's thinking of getting a new person sometime soon.

I've also been to the Beatnik Barber and had mixed experiences there.

Quinntessential Gentleman is douchey, but it does have plenty of frills.
