Yes, underrated, I agree. And great for the Django fans among us .

I watched the classic Woody Allen movies years ago, and would need to revisit them to give a good answer here. I watched 'Match Point' a few weeks ago, and thought it was a nice departure for him. He can cast Scarlett Johansson all he wants to.

It's definitely the best of the run of small comedies. I've watched it a few times and still enjoy it. I don't know if I could be paid to watch Jade Scorpion or Hollywood Ending again.

First is probably a toss between Hannah and Decon Harry.
I thought I'd be plumbing for older stuff - Annie, Manhattan etc. While they are terrific, I tend to go for a more contemporary mileu

I enjoyed Match Point, but it was too close to 'Crimes' in plot, and w/o any (intentional) laughs, as I seem to remember... Though Scarlett was a treat... looking fwd to seeing 'Scoop'.... yum yum....

There's something to be cherished in all his movies, some more than others.

There's the right answer.

I did enjoy "anything else", "curse of jade scorpion" and "match point" a lot from his recent years.

Manhattan
Crimes and Misdemeanors
Sleeper

I recently saw The Front in which Allen plays an agent for blacklisted screenwriters in the McCarthy era. Not an Allen movie, per se, but I thought it was great.

I just watched Love and Death last night and have to say it was hilarious. I'd recommend it to anyone that hasn't seen it yet.

No "What's Up, Tiger Lily"?

Most of my favorites have already been mentioned- Annie Hall, Manhattan, Love & Death. But my personal favorite is Radio Days. Great movie about growing up. Made me wish I was born 50 years earlier.

Not his best work but I do love Mira Sorvino in Mighty Aphrodite.

Second Interiors, I also like the new stuff.
I liked Match Point.
Sleeper is an all time favorite-

Man -"All your friends are dead.."
Woody -"They can't be, they owned health food stores.."

designprofessor . . . for me, Interiors is truly dark. Harrowing. The depiction of despair inside the church, as the camera follows Geraldine Page running from her humiliation, is quite searing. I wish Mr. Allen had delved even deeper, into high drama.
