Liking what I see so far.

Alfred is fantastic.
Just grabbed And Yet it Moves, a beautifully designed game for someone like me who hates games.
Finally loaded Evernote on all my machines.

What else should I look at?

Hmm. Ok next up: Free or Paid? Some off the top: Onyx - multitasking system cleanser utility Burn - CD/DVD burner Timeout - keep your ass from sitting for too long VLC - (they took this off the store so you'll just have to download it the old fashioned way) Movist - because quicktime sucks as a video player If you need anything specific let me know.

Thanks, have most of those. How is movist better than QT?

Personal opinion. Its better with full screen and doesn't pause every time you move your mouse (which drives me fucking nuts). Perian is a must have for all the codecs needed to play Picasa because iPhoto sucks a big cock Simple Comic for reading .cbr files (comics) Transmission for torrents XLD for converting audio files from one format to another

What's the problem you're having? Did you need any recommendations for paid apps? I just went through my app folder and those were all the free ones that I saw.

I've never been a fan of Mac's, but not to TS levels Just figured that I'd point out that Macs aren't quite as "perfect" as people make them out to be.

When they fail they fail miserably. iTunes store is still the most confounding interface I've ever seen and mobile me (which I'm trying for the first time) has got major issues. But I love this new app store for macs.

Phone won't sync. I really just need my calenders to jibe with one another.

What paid apps have you been downloading?

Not really up to date on the mobile me aspect. Try the MacRumors forums for some advice. Paid aps - really depends on what you're trying to do and depends on if you actually want to pay for them or not.
