So the consensus on the 811's is to size down 1, right?

Although the Eternal 811 feature amazing denim, the fit is pretty relaxed, or "anti-fit." For a given waist size, I found the seat and thighs very generously cut. Here's a post from a different threat showing my size 33 one-wash (the smallest I could button up when trying them on at BiG) before and after extensive tailoring.

Good fit.

That's a good taper job... First one I've seen from them (I go to Robert Schaeffer for all my denim alterations).

Did you go TTS? Or down a size?

I think so, unless you have a big ass. I went TTS on mine and wish that I had sized down 1; even though the waist still fits fine, there is just too much room in the seat after the jeans stretch.

...only concern would be the waist being too tight... Does it stretch much?

Mine didn't have much trouble stretching out in the seat, so I would guess that the waist shouldn't be too hard to stretch either.

What do you guys think about the fit, good or should I size down one more? 883's size 32 o/w

nope, those are perfect. if you went down another size they would be to tight. they will stretch out and be perfect. nice jean.

Yeah, in my experience the waist on the 811 one-wash stretches out a lot, and does it pretty quickly too.

Here are my 883's at a little over 1 month
