I heard my name, and came over to see what was going on. A meetup could be fun. We did that a couple of times when I was in B'ham (more AAAC focused, though). OK Joe's is my go-to BBQ, but then (in keeping with earlier discussions) I am white. However, a good friend is not, and he likes it, too. LC's is good, but not quite up to OKJ's. Bryant's I found a little dry, but I like the sauce. Jack Stack is great for the sides and for the lamb ribs.

I have never seen you before. I am pretty sure if I saw you, I would recognize who you are. It's a small world after all.

It is morally imperative that a meet-up occur. However; can we wait until the May time frame . I'll be out of the country until then. Yes, this should revolve around my schedule, thanks

At this point, I think we need to tally up how many of us are actually on this board and go from there.

Well I went for my job interview today. Should know somethign in the morning. Went and looked at apts and lofts afterwards. I liked the river market, quality hill, and the plaza. Westport and Hyde Park seemed kinda sketch.

Another KC native here. I live in the Crossroads area: 2 blocks south of Power & Light. A meetup sounds like fun.

Will need an official tally. A meet up can be coordinated. But can't have the failed New York thread.

I count 11 KC area members in this thread. Mini meet-up? Manifesto would be a great place to meet for drinks.

reverse was cool. manifesto is kc's own "speakeasy", so I guess the average person really isn't supposed to know where it is. So this means we won't be having the meet at some place with PBR tallcans? damn
