Yea especially since they've been featured in Esquire!

This is great! I hope my MTO G&G comes by end of Feb/beginning March. I can't wait. OTOH the pictures make me think I should have gotten bespoke instead. Perhaps for my next order.

I think the shoes will be really beautiful in a few years when the brass picks up some patina, and the leather has broken in some. And thanks for the compliments, too.

i think silver would look great as it ages and turns black around certain parts.

next you should do a penny loafer with a gold soverign there!
dude! if it was gold the next question was gonna be is it Jacob & Co - then it really would be ghetto! and a tru P.I.M.P

What is everyone ordering at the upcoming trunk show? I was thinking about the Savoy in mole suede or the Carnegie/Windsor in the hide that most approximates EG Edwardian.

I'm not going to order again until I get my first pair and have a chance to wear them a few times and be sure of the fit. I know that a few other people are also going to wait. In this respect, I think their inability to get the shoes shipped before the show will cost them a few orders. If the fit is fine, I can always phone one in later (and I probably will) but never underestimate the pull of the impulse purchase. It can be hard to say no when you are holding one of those samples in your hand.

Which cities will they visit (I couldn't find their tour on their website)? Will they visit Dallas again?

As I recall, it's NY, SF and Atlanta. No Texas stops this time.

The shoes are beautiful but that is to be expected.

And even the shoe box and the shoe bags are particularly nice!

Enjoy your G & G's!

I'm in for a pair of bespoke but am also preparing to be won over by the RTW samples

Thanks Manton. I thought I recalled they were missing Dallas.

They're coming to Atlanta? I'm about to freak out, in a good way, if this is true. Although, I just checked their website, and it doesn't mention ATL.

I would trust your check of the website over my memory.

They'll be in Los Angeles, too. Dean's covering the west coast, and Tony's touring the east.

No orders from me --- they'll check the fit of the loafers, and want to wait until they've fixed the one fit issue I have before making more shoes for me.
