I love the fact that SF is so full of Big Timers that you can casually sell a car in the "Other" forum.

As an aside, I thought of this car for my Mom!

The thought of her in it, really made me smile. But while she lives in Ft. Lauderdale, Broward County, Fl. she is 93 years old! And if it is possible, she is definitely a young 93 and she really likes a car like the CTS-V rather than the bigger Cadillacs.

But after a little thought ( and conversation with her ), she loved the car and idea, but she has accepted that her personal driving days are over. She has friends, family, and an occasional driver that help her get around. But I loved the thought of her driving around, though those days are over.

It reminded me of an East coast version of this

She would be a 2011 Terror of Oakland Blvd!

While I love the idea too, I would have hated to the be the one to sriously try to talk both of y'all out of a dream. The car isn't an F1 demon, but 400HP is serious and takes some effort to handle, even in normal driving situations. I wouldn't have sold her a car that I thought could get her into trouble. That said, I would have been happy to give her a test drive so she could stretch out her inner enzo and we could see what she's got

You're a good guy and congrats again on the sale.

I really did show her the listing and she loved it but I think it was a bit tongue in cheek.

If you are in Dade or Broward counties, then you know there is a huge problem of elderly people that are still licensed to drive but should not be driving ( especially a car like the 400 HP CTS-V ).

I think my Mom liked the looks of the car and she actually remembered the Beach Boys " Little Old Lady from Pasadena " song from the 1960s. Luckily my Mom still has her wits about her at 93 and I doubt she would attempt to drive a car.

Next time I am in Broward county, I will PM you.
