I want to start a split for my Tuscan leather 50 ml. I will be keeping 20 ml and splitting the other 30 ml three ways in 10 ml atomizers. I purchased this bottle last week at the boston Neiman for a little over 200 including tax. So just in juice costs, 10 ml will be $40. I will be using priority mail, which is around $5-6. Further, I will be purchasing 5 x 10 ml atomizers from ebay for $7.00. So, including shipping and materials + my time, I will be charging $55. Does anyone have any preference for frosted glass vs transparent glass? Also, sorry, but I'd like to keep this to the US only.. I don't want to deal with international shipping! I'm also considering buying a bottle of tobacco vanille to keep 30 ml and split 2x10 ml, but only if I get sufficient interest. TOM FORD Tuscan Leather Split 1.?? 2.?? 3.??

I'd be interested in Tobacco Vanille, though from reviews I hear that it's insanely sweet smelling ... Could anyone who's experienced it first hand give me any thoughts?

I have a 5 ml sample of tobacco vanille. I will be brutally honest with you. The first time I tried it, I was semi-disappointed, just because I had heard so much hype about it on the internet and was expecting some amazing frag.

The more and more I use it, the more and more I like it. It's one-dimensional and doesn't evolve much, if at all, throughout the day. YOu could say that the first half is more strongly tobacco and the second half is slightly more vanilla, but on the whole, it's a very predictable scent that lasts FOREVER. The longevity on this is insane!

As far as sweetness goes, it is pretty sweet. But everyone has different ideas of what they consider sweet, so it'd be really hard to tell you whether it's too sweet for you or not until you actually try it out. I don't have enough knowledge or experience with other fragrances to give you any similarly smelling frags to compare TV to.

All in all, tobacco vanille and tuscan leather are my favorites out of all the private blends. I sampled all of them at neiman and these are by far the best.

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah, I guess it wouldn't hurt to do a 10 ml split, so count me in if there's ever more interest, I both like the smell of Tobacco and Vanilla, so I guess it shouldn't be hard to predict what this would turn out like. Only thing I'm a bit concerned over is the strength, but oh well, I need some new frags. EDIT: Also, the longevity is a big plus, unless of course, I get sick of the vanilla. (sorry I didn't take this to PMs, but I'm planning on capping my PM inbox and leaving it full so I won't be tempted into buying anything for a good while .)

5 way would be nice, so 10 ml each? I haven't sampled this frag yet but I am confident that I will like it.

50ml is 250 and 100ml is 300. If would be wise to go with the larger bottle
