I'm going to have a small role in a short movie. Anyone ever been in a short movie? What should I expect? This is my first time with a gig like this.

Avoid the casting couch. No matter what they tell you it is NOT standard procedure to have to sleep with the producer.

Shorts are shown at film festivals to get their creators real movie deals. A friend of mine has made quite a few shorts, it landed him a job at Twisted Pictures. Which he wishes he never took.
