Peter Lorre & John Cazale, FTW

Bruce McGill
Paul Gleason
Bill Duke
Bruce Altman (had to look him up, always assume he's the bad buy as soon as he shows up on screen)
Jay O. Sanders (had to look him up too)

Can anybody think of any chicks?

Took the dog for a long cold walk to clear my head and here is what I came up with:

Richard Kind
Chi McBride
Jeremy Piven (until Entourage this would have been a great answer)
Michael Jeter
Karen Allen
Glenne Headly
Tom Hulce
Michael Ironside
Chris Penn
Tracey Walter
John Ashton
Ronny Cox
Jonathan Banks
Michael Pena
Jeffery Wright

He's had plenty of lead roles. The Water Engine, for example. Fargo? Though if you use the difinition "predominantly..." Macy's great.

Stephen Root is good. Great in O Brother.

Tom Wilkinson does a lot of this though he's had his leads on occasion too.
Walter Brennan... Sterling Holloway?
