Prices seem very high, but I live in a fairly agricultural area, and a few miles from the Gulf. Still....that price for divers scallops is insane.

The only meat I buy regularly is beefsteak -- I expect to pay around $15 CAD per pound for rib steaks; about $4 less for top sirloin and maybe $3 to $4 more for new york strips. I don't bother with flavourless filets ...

when I want a good steak I go to Costco and get USDA Prime for $12-15lb.
