I'm almost sold on a TOJ collared moto, and the only thing holding me back is, ironically, the collar. Why is it so high off the top edge of the jacket? Seems like it would look better if it was sitting flat. To get an idea of what that would look like, I did a super quick Photoshop mockup showing a flatter collar:

I dunno, looks better to me, but I'm guessing there's some reason for the way it's designed. Does TOJ do custom collars? smile.gif

You can mold the collar yourself. Unless it's changed recently, the jacket comes to you with the collar relatively flat...like this.

I guess, but in that case the extra leather just makes the collar really wide like in that shot.

Why all the hate? Just just wondering why the collar is so high. Obviously there's a reason..

Fuck the daypacks, it's all about the seabag:

rubbing sea salt in the wounds

I feel that you need a big beard and have to smoke a pipe to use the seabag. In any case, nice looking bags.

BTW, aeglus, what are those boots in the pic?

Dude with the collar questions has to be the same who was made an offer to me on my Geller. Either that or two people within like two days asked the same question about the height/lay of a collar, and I've never seen it asked before. I had the same reaction as the people here.
