the lapels are a little different and i liked how the 2013 has snaps on the belt loops

but i guess the differences are minor enough to overlook now that i think about it

I wonder how Drew feels waking up every morning, knowing he scammed hundreds of people...

im sure he doesn't give a fuck. people do far worse and just put it out of their minds. think of all those ex-dictators who live out their lives perfectly happily in the suburbs of paris or geneva.

He probably strokes his morning wood while thinking of how he got away it all.

That's where he gets his leather conditioner from.

forgot to give an update to the post below, but it's been well over 45 days and i never heard back from my credit card company or paypal regarding the dispute i filed. not that anybody doubts it, but drew really doesn't seem to care if he's willing to let almost $2k be taken back from his account without trying to fight it at all.

i'm very thankful for having been able to get my money back on two of my orders, but unfortunately i'm still out a third full leather's worth cause i bought a spot like a dumbass.

the only thing that gives me a small bit of hope is the chance that we can at least get partially reimbursed depending on how the legal action that's being taken against drew pans out.

regardless, as others have said before me, this entire experience has certainly been a lesson learned.

will have to wait 45+ days for it to clear and be official/permanent/etc. so that drew has time to prove his case against my dispute, but fortunately the money is actually usable until then

i bank with wells fargo and have a visa credit card through them for reference

paid back in mid-february 2014, and i was actually only five days (i think that's what the csr said) away from having reached a time limit where this would've been impossible as of last friday (11/20) when i was last in contact with them

what's scary was that i originally filed my dispute over a month ago, and after having not heard from them since, i decided to call back earlier last week and that's when i found out that my dispute hadn't been processed through all of the way due to supposedly missing vital information

however, the information they needed was actually already in the original e-mail i sent them a month ago, and on friday when they called me back about one more piece of vital info they needed, it turned out that, again, it was in the original e-mail

I was fortunate enough to have very nice and legitimately caring csr's, but don't expect them to be on top of everything (can't really blame them, though, since it was a long e-mail i had to send to their disputes department; tried to cover a lot about toj to strengthen my case)

so with that said, if you're at a position to where you can still file a dispute, definitely do so and know that the onus is on you to make sure that everything is being processed and running smoothly on their (the bank/credit card company) end

was hesitant in posting this before my credit cleared (since drew supposedly lurks this thread), but i felt that people should know

Saw my first ever TOJ in the wild today. CWU. Looked great. Asked him where he got it (to confirm) and he said "err... it's from... the internet", which I assume is the standard response. He didn't know about any of the drama, so I told him to google it.

Shout-out if you're reading this thread!

Really…. dafuq? How would you even know wtf a TOJ was and decide to buy some unknown, weirdo internet brand?

Yesterday, I just realized I haven't even worn mine this winter! WTF is wrong with me?

I'm happy for you. I wish I had used my credit card instead of paying via Paypal but it's been 2 years so I should just carry the mental scar and move on.

In the future, I think I'll just save up and get myself a Real McCoys from an actual store - that way I know I will walk out with a jacket in my hands.

There hasn't been a post in weeks and it seems increasingly possible that this bastard will be getting away with stealing over half a million dollars. Unless Die Workwear has something going on that he hasn't informed us of yet, I would like to contact Drew's father. If anyone has his address (I will be looking for it if not) I propose that you, I and as many people possible send Drew's father simple letters informing him of circumstances and imploring him to try and get his son to do the right thing. Shame is a big motivator and as long as we handle this right perhaps this excerts some pressure on Drew or at least forces him to think about how he fucked all of us instead of pretending it never happened.

I'm not sure what contacting his father would do? Please explain.

I (foolishly) purchased a spot from another buyer who even re-assured me via email that the orders were being filled....

Anyway, Paypal nor my bank would succeed in offering a chargeback and the guy who sold me his spot has since gone silent via email despite numerous emails.
