How about a TOJ anniversary burger? :P

San Diego has a restaurant that's spreading out with the semi-gourmet burger idea, Burger Lounge. Surprised there isn't something similar going on in LA?

San Diego also has this place called Crazee Burger that serves burgers with exotic meats. Friends have been bugging me to go with them to try out their alligator burger.

LA does have it, it's called The Counter, been open for 8 years, multiple locations. Besides every chic LA restaurant has their signature burger with truffles or some other crazy shit. Anyway, how about the new bomber and anniversary jackets, eh?

Clearly didn't just read the exchange going on... For me the ideal burger should not have bacon. I am not 100% sure it should even have cheese, though if it does, said cheese must be cheddar. It does have lettuce, tomato and red (not sauteed or yellow as there) onion. It does not have dills. While I greatly enjoy most if not ALL varietals, this is, in my view, the burger at its purest. And yes, that bun looks SO GOOD as per gif.

EVERYTHING SHOULD HAVE CHEESE. EVERYTHING.

See the veg needs to be there for the reasons Drew said - the cheese though is an independent flavour from the beef. In its purest form you should be eating the burger for the burger, with no background noise from the accessories. And I like ALL cheeses, all toppings, I'm speaking only in the Platonic sense.

should I pair my black DR with a pair of black wolverine 1000 mile boots? My concern with these boots is the heel, but maybe they don't appear as large in person. Drew share your wisdom; suggest something else perhaps.
