yes, it's exactly that - People ask 'what color is the dark brown goat?' and I think I've said many times (and it's recorded on the site or something) that dark brown goat is nearly black, with only hints of brown in some lights - since people tend to go for the idea of a material's integrity over the color in a 1-2 priority in that case, black goat is more reliable to recommend.
you're talking about jakekrait? He said he was coming to Tokyo later this summer but hasn't checked into styfo for awhile I think.

I wrote this a day or so ago, but the forum keeps shoving my posts into a moderation queue (?!)... if you grab a piece of unsweetened chocolate you'll be very close to the color of dark brown goat.

and there are a couple of pics on the toj gallery of the cwu in dark brown goat. the full body picture is fairly close. It's definitely brown in warm light, but in artificial light it goes a bit black.

I always cuff my jeans, man. I know it's not for everyone, but I dig it.
I'm excited to see you get a brick and mortar store set up soon. Hopefully I'll see a nice car of some sort parked in front and DK in a bespoke suit inside the store.
The ToJ story still impresses me.

Well, the nice car in front might be a van of some sort, my wife is working on a catering business for showbiz types, haha. I have to buy her a work car of some sort, it might be one of those 660cc kei microvans...

Wait, isn't your wife loaded? She should get you something nice then! As long as the van looks dope, it's all good man...especially in Japan.

I'll follow into the entrepreneurship footstep soon. I don't think I can work for someone else for the rest of my life. I'm still drafting my business plan at the moment.

Even when ToJ goes on vacation, keep in touch, man!

It is a joint project for us, hopefully will make some money. I will be slanging TOJ leathers to entertainers when I meet them too.

I am gonna buy myself a car or two eventually, I am just channeling my resources into the brick and mortar store and some other stuff with food right now, trying to make that work and get everything set up. Once I get the important working stuff done I can go pick out my ride.

At least you will have a chance to check out the TOJ store when it comes to being.

absolutely !

regarding the A2 measurments, I found the old one measurement chart :

http://archeo.graphr.net/web/2009/toj/2.2/

Measurements I ordered have the same sz50 shoulders, sz49 length and sz48 P2P and mid meas. Which sounds just perfect to me. However, it seems the previous version had LONG LONG sleeves.

Cars come and go, man. The next logical step for me was to get an M3, but I don't even know how much longer I will be in this country so I downgraded to a cheaper car.

Follow your dream and get filthy rich doing what you love. I need to find a business minded chick like you. The one I have is still childish, although her family is pretty darn rich.

well, i don't think i will be getting filthy rich off leather jackets and catering food, lol - but I found this house on the market the other day, exactly what I want, perfect location and design pedigree, expensive but a sure investment... painful when you're not ready to buy something like that and it's sitting there. :(

How does it work in Japan? If you marry a Japanese citizen then you can stay in the country permanently as well?

It's funny because I have a Mexican friend who is in love with the Japanese culture. He speaks fluent Japanese and would hang out with the Japanese kids straight off the boat in college.

yes, pretty much. Works the same way as it does in most countries. The US has a long grueling process for visas if you marry a foreigner, but it turned out that in Japan I got a marriage visa approved and granted within 2 weeks, very minimal paperwork. lol. The waiting room for marriage visas in the Japanese immigration office looks like some refugee camp. They have to deal with so many frauds and overly-hopefuls in that department I guess, so when a legit case comes through they can probably tell and just expedite it through the system.

no hate, great dr but first pic reminds me of christian bale from machinist

I LOL'd IRL. I'm skinny by America's standard, but probably normal on SF's standard. I'm only 5'9'' at 155-160lbs.

I also LOL'd at Asian Barack. I will wear a navy suit and a red tie on Monday.

Drew, I'll visit Japan one of these days and will hit you up. I plan on visiting my SF friends around the world before I die, haha.

yes, it's a godsend. The multiple re-entry permit you get with it is great too, I can travel and then come back and not have to wait in the huge non-residents line at immigration, and getting in and out of Japan is a breeze.
I think my visa gives me pretty much everything I need in Japan except for voting rights; I have Temple of Jawnz registered as a Japanese company and I am the de facto owner, I can rent or buy property, the health insurance is pretty great and has been amazing, like $2.50 co-pays on doctor visits and $50 MRI's and cat scans, and I even got a Japanese credit card awhile back after only a few months of being here. I'd say if you stay on the straight and narrow and do things properly within the rules of the country and are mindful of the dynamics (this includes being expected to communicate in Japanese), they do a good job of incorporating foreigners within their society overall. It's a good place to live as far as I am concerned.

Premium/Ultimate TOJ0 will definitely be purchased if it does in fact make it into the re-collection.

Any ideas for colors/materials at the moment?

I think it has been previously established, but it looks like I am the exact same measurements as you in almost every way. Send me all of your jawnz. Thanks! Heck, I'll drive the hour down to save on shipping! :)
