Quick question about the CWU. Drew has basically recommends black lamb only for this jacket like below:
Yeah, the dark brown is almost black. I don't recommend it for anything other than the 4-zip MDR with lighter brown/silver contrast zippers, 2010 DR or Moto with silver zips, or an A2. CWU isn't a good choice to go in anything but black lamb because there are two non-leather parts to that jacket that must be matched to the leather.
I assume the two non-leather part he's referring to are the suede patch and the ribbing? If so, how is it any different than the A-2, where we see a lot of brown lamb? Just the style of jacket?
I'm asking because I like the CWU a lot (more than the a2), but don't wear much black. Mostly navy, grey, brown, etc, pretty boring. What about a CWU in dark brown goat? Almost black, but still brown. Maybe not as ideal as black lamb, but still pretty awesome?
