Drew are you going to do anything besides the rider in diamond quilt, maybe like a fully diamond quilted (whiskey) suede jacket.

Sorry if this is a super noob question, but I just got this toj1 off B&S and it fits perfectly, but the shoulders have this crinkled pattern on the front. It was listed as "brand new, just tried on once." Any ideas if this is normal or something that I should attempt to fix? What would cause this?

If it's just part of the leather breaking in, forgive my ignorance.  Thanks for the help.  Love the quality and the buttery softness of the leather.

I'm not aware of the lamb having those marks brand new, but they may I guess. Look for pilling on the ribbing if you want to find out if it's new.

Just the grain. Don't worry about it. Mine has had them since I received it from TOJ in the mail.

This.  That's completely normal in the black lamb.

Thanks for this.  It feels and smells new, but the odd pattern was a little worrisome to someone who's new at this stuff.  Thanks for the insight.

i want a jacket made of the grainiest, wrinkliest lamb drew can find. it's very nice when it's just a natural effect.

I really like that texture, especially on my 2010DR and CWU45- it gives this beastly look to the jacket that will only get more intense as time and wear make it more pronounced. It's all over my 2010DR, and I hope that it turns out a lot like (if not more intense than) this jacket in the gallery:

I think that the MDR looks amazing without it, though, and I'd probably prefer my future BCDR to be the same way. satisfied.gif

Still feel like these shoulders are too narrow, but I am now 100% convinced that Drew's 1.05 / 1.08 / 1.1 measurement multiplier thing is pretty much perfect for leathers.

Sorry, ToJ noob here, but can someone explain a bit more about the 1.05, 1.08 and 1.1 multiplier? I have a MDR in the order queue right now and want to make sure i get the perfect fit :P

I believe it's tight, slim, and regular, respectively.

^Brad is right.

To elaborate a little more, it's a multiplier for each of your measurements. You raw chest measurement x 1.08 "should" be a regular fit. I believe this best works with lamb though as calf is a little heavier and thicker so might as well size up.

Wait, can someone explain to me how those numbers work?

If I had 17.5 shoulders, multiplying by any of those numbers seems way too big.
