To build on Razele's post, it's that time of year where we can liven up this thread with a bit of TOJ wishlist discussion - what do you want for later? Don't need to talk about previous/existing models, I want to hear new needs.
Knits / tech fabrics would be cool however you feel like implementing them. They could be used in your version of traditional styles (cardigans/anoraks, whatever) or somehow into the old ToJ offerings. Maybe a knit varsity or wool body/knit sleeve combo? A tech fabric chesterfield/raincoat? Next level scarves? I do remember you touching on some pricing issues with tech wear, so maybe this isn't viable.
I also recall you discussing the differences between designing accessories/bags and the jackets, but I think you could revisit some of those ideas in either leather or other materials. Maybe eyeglasses and shoes are a bit ambitious, but new iterations of the backpack, wallet, or even a semi-casual briefcase would be popular I'm sure.
I want a B3 like nobody's business, but it sounds as though it's an impossibility. I would really drop some cash on that, though. I'd also like some sort of higher-collar winter coat - sharper than a duffel, but something that I thought would keep my poor little neck warm. The cheserfield's too much of a car-coat for me, I think.
Oh, I also would love a cotton trenchcoat. Something that goes against (or parallel to) the biz-cas/burberry everything set-up that all the young bankers have. Something rawer, maybe a silk blend, with a really really big collar that meets somewhere between the man from sunday river and british imperialism, and that isn't a raglan sleeve. Almost like a duster, if it were a trench coat. Maybe a zipper and a gun flap? Now I'm rambling.
I would still absolutely love to do the TOJ x Hoth winter collection.
