Today I saw somebody ask what John Coppidge means - John (jawn) = in this case, clothes, specifically desirable fashion, and coppidge = the act of copping, acquiring..... so 'John Coppidge' = shopping

My lady friend commented that the quilting on the arms looked off. I think it's because it looks like a quilted piece of leather attached to the sleeve instead of having the quilting on the sleeve. From the back view, it's more evident because the seams don't line up.

That's exactly how it's made - the reason being that if the actual sleeve were quilted and foamed the sleeve head would be too bulky. Also, I like detail.

Showed it to the girl that might become my lady -- she like the jacket detail overall, but said she could never wear cropped jackets as her torso is too long. Said she would be interested in a jacket that isn't cropped.
