I see where you're coming from with that. Aesthetically though I still can't vibe with them Damnit, I just want to order a new one, guess I'll just have to keep looking pre-owned though.

Check the toj gallery for old pictures of the moto and you can see what the can tab pulls looked like, but trust Drew. You can change out the pulls on a zipper (kind of), but it's really not worth the trouble for the ones you want.

Drew,

Do you have a guesstimate on when the new pieces are going to be shown to the public? I'm primary interested in leather pieces so I can plan my next acquisition according.

the zipper pulls are very subtle and get picked up strongly in low-light, high contrast photos. Also, you guys realize that the zipper pulls stay the same size regardless if you're size 44 or 54, right?

new pieces will be up by next week, it looks like, at least some of them. Soon, at least.

Cool deal. I had a dream I was wearing a blue leather last night. I take it as a sign.

Yeah, I've seen all those....just a much bigger fan of 'normal' zippers, not dangly ones. but no more talking about that....can't change it so I'll just have to stick to pre-owned.

PS in regards to the weight of the blue leather, how light/heavy is it compared to other colors? Edit: Also, I read that the horse hide needs to be conditioned from time to time. Do you think I can use this to condition the jacket? I originally bought it for my car. The brand was recommended to me by a couple of friends who are nuts about detailing cars...you know the ones that use Q-tips to clean the air vents and spend 9 hours waxing the car until it is completely swirl free. http://www.amazon.com/Zymol-301-Trea.../dp/B000FCR3UI

Can't wait gonna cop Harrington, MA-1 or both. For shirts, would cop dress shirts although I recall you guys don't wanna do that anymore.

For dress shirts you can always go MTM or bespoke.

This is what I'm looking into now as dress shirts are the Achilles heel of my wardrobe.

I inquired at several reputable places locally, per recommendations of MC'ers and prices aren't bad. They're comparable to what Jil Sander, Dries, BoO, etc. retails for.

You realize you can get the 2011 moto without chest zippers, right? Go with blacked out zips on a black jacket, and that's about as subtle as it gets.

I want all 4 zippers, non black. I'm not going for subtle per say, I just feel the dangliness is feminine and takes away from the badassness of the moto. That's my opinion though, others can have theirs. Ahh jeez, seriously, no more zipper talk from me though, Drew's made it clear it can't be changed.

dude, I could go back to the can tabs tomorrow, it's not a supply thing, and I don't have tons of the current zippers to use up or anything - it's not a sell. I chose the current zippers because the can tabs are an inferior design for the application. That's it. I explained why in my previous post.

So, hold on. Can the zippers be changed?
