Pretty fast turnaround hobbes, I was thinking lead time might be over 8 weeks, prob due to increased orders panicking over cut off, I have that TOJ1 in that colorawy it's sick, waiting on my A2

I'd be curious to see the order times of people that get tracking in the next couple weeks. Drew had mentioned a bottleneck being passed in production a couple weeks ago, also recently mentioning the addition of more sewers.
I ordered 27th of March, what is this :fu:

What did you order? Figure a standard colorway TOJ1 is a number of times easier to produce than a full leather.

Not so much about what design is simple as what design they are doing a run of

Definitely wearing it mostly unzipped, which is nice since my mdr is worn pretty much always zipped

good fit, nice lengths. That's about as dialed-in as you could get, so nice work to you and Charly on the measurements. I'd wear the cuff zippers zipped about halfway though, rather than unzipped. I prefer that taper line to go almost all the way to the wrist before they bell out at the ends.

Also, FWIW - yes, dark brown goatskin is nearly black, as I've said. It's not black though, it will show brown, and over time it may fade too. Not uniformly, but in streaks and wear areas. It will be really nice after some wear.
If you look at this dark brown in the light, you get, well, brown out of it. If you look at true black leather in the light, it will show dark navy blue.

Sorry to burden this thread with yet another useless question but I'm having some post-order doubts. Here goes:

Anybody have any opinion on how silver zippers would look on black lamb DR2010? Don't really care about the double zipper, just not sure about the overall look.

Also, does anyone know if sleeve zipper and collar snaps will be gunmetal or silver? Anniversary MA-1 had silver zipper with gunmetal snaps.

I'm kinda hoping when drew comes back (if he comes back) that he does something similar to that MA1/Varsity reversible jacket he did a while back. I was digging through the gallery earlier and I think thats my favorite jacket.

Does anyone know of any other brands that make a slim MA1 or Varsity-type jacket of at least half decent quality?

^He plans on doing an MA-1 with Toyo down the line. Me and several others are very much looking forward to that. But I think the original TOJ1 is my favorite. Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere where it was warm enough to be my only jacket :\

Swung by the post office during lunch and picked up my artishard rider :slayer: Took a couple quick pictures, nothing great, but it's about 100 degrees so this is it for now.

(forgot to set white balance on my camera, so I did a quick hack job at correcting it in the first two)

I'm looking forward to that Drew x Toyo MA-1 as well, and kinda hoping the TOJ0 returns with the next project.

Hell Yeahh!!! :slayer:

Trick question: I ordered a black lamb DR2010 with silver zippers. Anyone know if all the hardware will be silver (Even sleeve zipper, collar snaps, waist)?
Anniversary MA-1 had silver zipper and gunmetal snaps.Still not sure how this will turn out...

TOYO is madness. Their production includes some of the best construction out of crazy heavy materials I've seen.
